Key Features
Two Configurations: Single and Dual Spindle
The same 600 frame comes as the TCK600Y with a main spindle and as the TCK600SY with a main plus sub-spindle. Both run a 600 mm swing, 500 mm cutting length, ±50 mm Y travel and a 12-station power knife tower. The sub-spindle on the SY turns the back of the part in the same cycle instead of a second operation.
30 kW Main Spindle, 4500 rpm
The main spindle runs 4500 rpm at 30 kW. On the TCK600SY the sub-spindle adds 5000 rpm and 11 kW, which is enough for back-face work, parting and secondary turning without a separate machine.
65 mm Main Bore, 56 mm Sub Bore
The TCK600Y main spindle takes a 65 mm bore. The TCK600SY runs a 65 mm main bore with a 56 mm sub-spindle bore, which is the usual arrangement when the second end needs to hold the part after parting.
Y-Axis Off-Centre Milling
±50 mm of Y travel on the power turret covers cross holes, flats and slots. Cutting diameter is 460 mm on the single-spindle version and 350 mm on the dual-spindle version, because the sub-spindle takes up space on that side.
Primary Applications
Both versions target turned parts with milled features:
- Valve bodies and hydraulic fittings with cross-drilled ports.
- Connectors, couplings and fittings machined on both ends.
- Automotive small parts where the back face carries real work.
- Bar-fed families where a second operation is the bottleneck.
Why Choose the TCK600Y or TCK600SY?
Take the TCK600Y when the part needs one end turned and milled. Take the TCK600SY when the back of the part has real work — a bore, a thread, a face — and a second setup is costing you alignment and queue time. The dual-spindle version earns its price on volume; below a certain batch size the sub-spindle sits idle. Compare against the full mill-turn range or read how dual-spindle work is planned.
